Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Ensure delivery/pick-up targets and commitments are met without compromising integrity, quality and safety.
  2. Promote safe driving and ensure that equipment is reported to office when not up to safety or operational standards.
  3. Timely attendance every day at the agreed upon start times and take breaks as permitted
  4. Check daily to ensure that equipment is safe and operational to operate and transport.
  5. Report equipment that has defects to office same day.
  6. Responsible for following health and safety directives.
  7. Promote and practice a safe working environment.
  8. Provide self evaluation for performance reviews.
  9. Drive continuous improvement efforts utilizing Teammate and Customer feedback.
  10. Recommend new/alternative transportation methods or enhancements that increase shareholder value.
  11. Communicate in a positive manner with all areas and levels – Sources, Buyers, Management, & Teammates.
  12. Ensure that processes are documented, updated and audited in a timely and orderly fashion.
  13. Ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
  14. Complete other tasks and projects as assigned.

Key Performance Measures 

  1. Equipment defects are recorded same day as observed.
  2. Completes work assigned in a quality and timely manner.
  3. Pick-ups and deliveries are made as per agreed schedule.
  4. Timely attendance and take daily breaks as permitted.
  5. Submit completed timecard on time every time.
  6. Report escalated Source/Buyer issues same day.
  7. Utilizing proper lifting techniques when loading or unloading materials/equipment.
  8. Office programs and processes implemented and followed.
  9. Self evaluation submitted on time as requested.
  10. Works well with others.
  11. Practiced a safe working environment.
  12. Attends 95% of scheduled training per quarter.

Job Requirements 

  1. Clear Driving DMV record
  2. Good verbal skills
  3. Fluent in English, some Spanish proficiency
  4. Focused on safe practices to ensure a safe working environment
  5. Sense of urgency to solve for the Customer
  6. One – Three (1 – 3) years of demonstrated warehousing/driving experience
  7. High School Diploma or GED equivalent
